It seems this government and the last government are happy to let boat people queue jump and let Indians and Asians take over our country, our jobs and our identity. I am sick of going to shopping centres and feel I am in Asia and not in Australia. GIVE ME BACK MY COUNTRY AND OUR JOBS.
Only in AUstralia they can 'retire' with a resident/citizen status and not worry about a thing. Their future contribution to our society will be zero, they will just be costing us money and then they offsprings will create ethnic youth gangs. Great.
Ditto Susan. I have been made redundant (I am Australian born) and others I worked with are Indians, who are not permanent residents. They will just work here, save their money and then send it back home. It is not fair
Aside from this, when is the government going to stop immigration. I am sick of Indians and Asians taking real Aussie born Australian jobs, especially in recession times. STOP IMMIGRATION NOW and send all these people back home NOW.
Send them to India. Lots of call centres there.

Well, the comments are appalling BLL, but they're not of the level that requires moderation IMO. Even idiots are allowed to state their opinions and unless they directly incite violence and/or vilify individuals by name, the Hun has to let them through.
I'm not defending the paper (their headlines and opening sentences are aimed at attracting these responses) but they're just appealing to the demographic they know best - morons.

I agree that even idiots are allowed to express an opinion, but these comments go beyond that. You draw the line at individuals being vilified, I am of the opinion that vilification of racial and religious groups is unacceptable. This has clearly gone on, and the Hun has encouraged it.
There is also direct incitement of violence here. The first entry talks about using the boats for target practice.
IMHO it doesn't get any more clear cut than that.

The Hun has pulled down numerous comments on this thread.
It seems that even though "they're only illegals" you can't actually encourage a "shoot to kill" policy on the Hun's website.
It seems a line has actually been drawn. Just wonder if a lazy or racist moderator got wrapped across the fingers for allowing stormfront-like comments on a "respectable" site?
