Victoria is a mess. The trains are a joke, we are running out of water, the ALP bullshit to win a by-election, and the transport system is dysfunctional.

The Liberals should be a shoe-in to win in 2010, but rather than doing the hard work and introducing policy they go for cheap tabloid politicking. Trying to score political points from a disaster is low, but they can't even play simplistic politics well.

"I find it incredible that we are only learning now, from leaked documents, that the Government had extensive warning of this extreme danger several days before Black Saturday," Opposition emergency services spokesman Andrew McIntosh said.

"The timing and adequacy of bushfire warnings and alerts must be fully investigated by the royal commission."

Seriously, WTF was McIntosh thinking?

Every single person in Victoria knew days before Black Saturday of the impending weather conditions. Even people living under rocks, wearing blindfolds and earmuffs knew something was up.

Arguing that the government withheld warnings is just dumb. The ALP now has a mountain of government warnings and press releases to whip McIntosh from now 'til eternity. And I'm tipping no Victorian Liberal is going to back him up on this one.
