Did you guys know that David Hicks is my hero?

I thought he was a bit of dick at first, a bad father, a bad son, a silly adventurer. And I thought his willingness to play with guns in a foreign land was just dumb. I thought he was more than just a little bit confused thinking killing people in the name of religion was morally justifiable.

But not anymore folks. See the RWDBs reckon that anyone who thinks Hicks deserves a fair trail worships the ground Hicks walks on.

I had planned to ask these people to name those who think Hicks is a hero, but that would be cruel. Instead, in the spirit of reconciliation I've decided to give them a target.

I, Broken Left Leg love David Hicks, and I believe he should get a ticket tape parade and an OA.

I'm glad he got a half million dollar flight home.

And I think he should be given an official pardon so all doubts about his guilt or innocence arrising from his farcical military commission could be removed.
