If the Middle East ceasefire doesn't work, look out.
In an amazing display of diplomatic stupidity George Bush has just declared that Israel won and Hezbollah lost the month long war.
George, It's not a football game, and besides, Hezbollah have not been defeated and they have even more support than ever on Arab Street.
The President has also declared that he certainly hopes the ceasefire will hold. This of course begs the question, why would George make such a provocative statement? Is he trying to encourage Hezbollah to prove a point and lob a few more Katyusha rockets at the "winners".
The nutter-in-chief's actions do however fit Seymour Hersh's theory that George and Israel had planned to take on Hezbollah well before the two IDF soldiers were kidnapped.
According to Hersh, George was itching for a fight so he could take out Iran's alleged Nuclear Weapons program.
So the big question is, Does George really really want the ceasefire to work?
At least Brendan Nelson is planning to increase our defense Force numbers for the inevitable chaos.
Best not to think about the fact that Loony Tunes has his finger on the button.

Top post, brokenleftleg! Great to see more and more people getting involved with the chaotic world scene and attacking the madmen who are running it.
